Important Shalimar information
Had dinner at Shalimar Sunnyvale this evening. Quality is quite commensurate with Shalimar Fremont. The restaurant seems to be a little larger than Fremont, but otherwise much the same. One important thing to know is that there is both an E. and W. El Camino, with W. El Camino being more Northern, towards Mountain View. Shalimar is at 1146 W. And, if you are in San Francisco, the other two parts of the Shalimar chain are there. Had a lovely lunch at the one on Polk Street yesterday. The portions are a bit small for the price, but the food is excellent. The chai is free with meals, and my dining companions had many refills and were quite pleased. The staff seemed pretty pleasant, too.
