What do you call that junk you get?

I'm looking for a collective term for all the varieties of junk messaging (spam, phishing, SPIT, SPIM, etc.). The generic term for the e-mail variety seems to be Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE). By analogy, I propose Unsolicited Bulk Messaging (UBM).

Seeing as how "BM" has another connotation, UBM="You BM" might be good or bad depending on the context. In an official or professional context, you may want to avoid it.

How about unsolicited bulk communication?

UBM sounds good to me.
