Improvements in technology

Sometime around 1993, I buy my first external hard drive, a 1.2 GB hard drive for around $1/MB.

This week, I buy McAfee Internet Security Suite for $79 with a $40 rebate. It comes with a 128 MB flash MP3 player.

Can do better. I remember around 82-83 when my dad bought an external hard drive (I think it was about ~5 MB) and hooked it up to a CP/M card in our old apple-II.

I think the price was probably around $200+/MB easily.
