Dulles Wireless

IAD terminal C (at least at gate C7) has a free wireless AP, SSID 05B404045912. Pretty convenient since it let me look at SeatGuru while talking to customer service. Over in terminal D, where I've just been rerouted to, all there is is the Red Carpet Club fee-for-service T-Mobile AP...

Yeah but the free AP has ping times of ~3sec...

I guess experiences vary. I was able to ssh in, check my email, etc. with quite satisfactory performance.

Why aren't you using cellular data of some type that comes from your cell phone provider? Most of the providers can be hot-wired to allow web browsing and ssh through the some interfaces that support web browsing on your phone.
