Notes on getting X.org working with the Matrox P650 (II)
The standard config file works fine with a VGA display (for which you need to use the DVI-VGA dongle). However, to make it work with DVI communication to your display, you need to add:
Option "DigitalScreen1" "on"
To the "Device" section of your XF86Config file.
