Debugging missile defense
Unsurprisingly, a recent test of the "missile shield" was a failure. These are just the unit tests, folks, and they don't even work. When was the last time you saw a system that had only been unit tested work the first time you tried to run all the parts together? And considering that the first real test consists of trying to shoot down incoming nuclear missiles, I'd say we're a ways away from being ready to ship the product.Posted by ekr at December 17, 2004 9:36 PM | Filed under:
