I'm watching Mega Shark versus Giant Octopus and I just saw a huge shark jump out of the water and eat an airplane. Did I mention that this movie stars Lorenzo Lamas and Debbie Gibson (yes, that Debbie Gibson). The best news? It's available on Netflix instant play.

Oh my god, it could have been so much better yet! From the wikipedia article:

[The film] was originally titled Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus 3D, but "3D" was stricken from the title when the studio failed to acquire adequate funding for 3-D film

My wife and I saw the commercials for this during a Doctor Who marathon and were sorry we missed it. The title is so incredibly unpretentious we couldn't help but root for them.
